Splunk Buys Microservices Monitoring Firm Omnition

The purchase is intended to boost Splunks capabilities in microservices architectures.

Splunk has announced its acquisition of Omnition, which provides monitoring for microservices applications. Financial terms of the deal were not released.
Still in stealth mode, Omnition has built its distributed tracing applications as software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings.
