The Russian national was convicted of hacking into accounts at LinkedIn, Dropbox, and Formspring.

On Friday, a Russian national was convicted by a federal jury of hacking into LinkedIn, Dropbox, and the social networking company formerly known as Formspring. According to the charges, Yevgeniy Nikulin broke into and conspired to sell data from systems on all three networks; damaged LinkedIn and Formspring computers by installing malware; and stole employee user names and passwords from LinkedIn and Formspring.
Nikulin began his criminal activity from his home in Moscow by compromising an employee account at LinkedIn, then duplicated his activity at the other networks.
