Pulse Films of Los Angeles is currently casting new talent for a cable television show that will feature hacking competitions and profile the personalities of up-and-coming security researchers and penetration testers. The show, which is scheduled to appear on a major cable network, will highlight the skills and personalities of ethical hackers through a combination of both specialized and generalized competitions, with players working both individually and in teams.
According to Pulse producers, the as-yet-unnamed program seeks to focus on emerging talent, rather than established researchers, in the American Idol tradition. Interested participants don’t need any specific certifications or skill sets to apply, but they should be willing to discuss their experiences and the work they’ve done.
