London youth who hacked a Derbyshire company let off in a restorative justice agreement with the police.

In a restorative justice settlement, a hacker who broke into a Derbyshire, UK company’s network will now work for his victim to strengthen its cybersecurity and safeguard it from breaches, reports Burton Mail. The 24-year-old London hacker had stolen credentials from social media tools to illegally access the organization’s server.
Following an agreement between the Derbyshire police and the victim, no legal action was taken against the hacker after he was arrested by the Metropolitan Police in return for providing cybersecurity advice to his victim.
