The campaign has filled the positions of CISO and CTO in the runup to the 2020 presidential election.

Joe Bidens presidential campaign has hired two security officers to help address cybersecurity threats. The campaign announced that it has hired Chris DeRusha as CISO and Jacky Chang as CTO.
