Apple Issues Security Updates

Vulnerabilities found in three most recent versions of macOS.

Apple has issued multiple security updates for three of its operating systems; macOS Big Sur 11.0 and 11.0.1, macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, and macOS Mojave 10.14.6, according to a notice from the Department of Homeland Securitys Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The updates follow Apples release of security updates for most of its non-Macintosh platforms
earlier in November
.
The security updates patched more than 58 separate CVEs across the operating system versions, with the majority of those affecting
macOS Big Sur
. Only three CVEs, for example, were noted as having an impact on
MacOS High Sierra or Mojave
. In its notice, CISA recommends that all organizations and users update to the new OS version immediately.
