Hackers Access Mark Zuckerberg’s Twitter, Pinterest Accounts

OurMine Team claims hack is a fallout of LinkedIn leak; Zuckerberg reportedly may have used same password for other accounts.

The Twitter and Pinterest accounts of Mark Zuckerberg, co-founder and CEO of Facebook, were recently compromised by a hacker group, according to a VentureBeat report. The so-called OurMine Team claimed responsibility for the attacks, and both of Zuckerbergs hacked accounts have now been cleaned up and restored.
The hacker group also claimed to have broken into Zuckerberg’s Instagram account, but Facebook later told VB that no Facebook systems nor Zuckerberg’s Instagram account were compromised.
OurMine Team says the hacks were possible because of the LinkedIn dump last month, which carried leaked details of 167 million accounts. At that time, LinkedIn had advised users that passwords be changed immediately. VB says Zuckerberg may have used the same password for his other social media accounts, which made the hack possible.
